The Hon. Jaala Pulford is a former Victorian Government Minister now board director and adviser who works at the intersection of technology, medical research, and community impact.

Over 16 years in Parliament, and 8 years in Cabinet she led major portfolios across agriculture, regional development, small business, innovation, medical research, the digital economy and resources — experience that gives her a rare, practical understanding of how policy, industry and communities come together to create lasting progress.

Since leaving politics, Jaala has built a portfolio career focused on organisations shaping Australia’s future. She is Chair of MTPConnect and the Children’s Cancer Foundation, and a non‑executive director with Tenet Advisory & Investments, Wavewise Analytics, Emsee, VetScript and in 2025, Jaala joined the Tech Council of Australia Board, contributing her deep policy experience and insight into Australia’s tech and innovation landscape.
